My design wall has not changed at all.
But I have come up with this quilt design for those blocks.
This little quilt is next up in the UFO list. I haven’t figured out the cutting directions yet, I am hoping that EQ will guide me.
But before the rotary cutter gets going, this is what I am working on….
I have Going Dotty on the frame.
She is half quilted but I had to take a break.

I think the backing fabric or a solid white would look good. What are you going to name this happy quilt?!
Beautiful quilt. The backing would make a good binding.
I like that fabric for the backing and I like that other quilt design you showed at the beginning of your post.
I adore that quilt and I think the backing fabric would be a perfect binding. I guess you could choose one of the colors and use that. So many possibilities
the dotty quilt is just great. The backing fabric is a good idea for the binding
Wow, I feel like an outcast here but I like the scrappy binding.....and I like the backing too but not as much. :0)
Love the design you cam up with for the blocks! Great solution without having to make more blocks.
And I love the quilting you are doing. Freehand or panto? And if panto, which one??
I love a scrappy binding, but the backing would be great as the binding too!
Gari great job on both projects. I like the backing for binding too although you can't go wrong either way.
Oh Gari, I have been thinking about this dilema all morning and I am going with the scrappy dotty binding! I am anxious to see your final decision . . .
so creative and I like the backing as a binding myself. I love your quilting. I have been practicing free hand quilting and I love using my long arm.
I wanted to agree with you about a comment you made on my blog about patterns for some quilts-"quilter's jail" is sooo right, I like using EQ and making my designs too. Love yours for the blocks in the post.
